Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the TrainTogether mobile app and trainer web portal ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

TrainTogether is a platform that connects clients with personal trainers and provides tools for programming, nutrition, progress tracking and messaging. The client app is free to use. Trainers may subscribe to a paid plan to coach clients and access the web portal.

We are a platform provider. We do not provide coaching ourselves — coaching is delivered by independent trainers, and the coaching relationship is between you and your trainer.

3. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

Paid trainer plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and include a free trial where stated. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Client limits apply per plan. Trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before they end.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful, harmful, abusive or infringing content; no attempts to breach security, access other users’ data, or disrupt the platform; and no scraping or automated misuse.

Trainers must hold the qualifications they represent and coach within their competence. We may verify trainers and remove accounts that breach these Terms.

6. Your content & data

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit. You grant us a licence to host and process it to operate the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You control which trainers can see your data through the in-app sharing settings.

7. Health disclaimer

TrainTogether is a fitness tool, not a medical service. Content and coaching are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a health condition.

8. Availability & liability

We work to keep the Service available and secure but provide it "as is" without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
